A Birthday Tribute

On this date and time 18 years ago, I was born into this world. For 18 years I've grown up and this is who i am NOW because of my 18 years of life-changing experience.

And this year, I would give this birthday gift not to myself, but to those who INSPIRE and MOTIVATE me during this crucial stage of my life, as a TEEN.

And here it is....

Tribute To My Teens Years Role Models (2003-2007)

2003 (A New Dawn)

Well during this year, I stepped into the world of SECONDARY school and into teenage hood... Wow, sounds COOL right... lol. Hmm to start off, for the next 3 years i will be stuck with this school, NOT that i HATE it... LOL... Though this year, all my badge(all the form 1) was put in the afternoon session and i was thrown into 1 Dinamik (the top 2 class)... Furthermore in the afternoon session, there is only the form 1's and the form 2's as compared to the morning session which consist the rest (form 3,4 and 5)

OK, finish with the intro, now during this time (wow just enter a new phase of life... I'm sure you have someone to look up RIGHT???) There is this one senior of mine who caught my attention (well other than her physical attraction, LOL) her characteristic was somewhat i can related to. In a way, I felt comfortable speaking, interaction with her.

Well her name in Nadzmin Izzati and she was born on 05.04.1989 and to add more information, i was chosen as a prefect, so there is this mentor apprentice thing ( well she was not my mentor) but i observe her interaction with various attitude of students and how she manage to adapt, then i adapt her way to my everyday life.

But the reason that i REALLY look up to her is because she can understand how i feel towards life (as during that time, i was consider an outcast within my peers just because i have a wider exposer to life)

A bit of fast forward, she change school in 2004 to Sri Cempaka Cheras until SPM where not my mistaken she got 8A's for it (congrats!!!) and move on to study in Australia. Right now, i bet she's doing a VERY good job in AUS.. and in a way , I'm proud to have her in my list of tribute as i can consider her as one of the most successive senior I've known and also her as my role model for 2003.

2004 (Empty Transition)

To be honest, only 2004 i don't have a Role Model, why???

1st, during this year form 2's are the seniors of the afternoon session.

2nd, as a prefect, i have to act as mentor for the junior prefect.

3rd, there were some minor setback with my relationship with my peers and all (though in 2003 it was improving)

Yeah, it was kinda tough that year. But as it progressed, especially after Level 2 Prefect Leadership Camp and also KL Chess Open. I found myself with MOST arguably the BEST role model ever.

This idol of mine, is Sheikh Shafiq Sheikh Obid

2005 (PMR-Process of Mentally Reconstruction)

Sheikh Shafiq Sheikh Obid, Head Boy for Term 2004/2005. He so far, THE ROLE MODEL for me.

Why??? Simple

The way he carries himself...

His way of leading the school student to a better horizon...

Hmm well honestly, MAYBE because i felt that he is charismatic and visionary in what he do. Plus he is a very HARDWORKING guy. He, for me stand above all his peers and not only as a Head Boy, but also perform in Chess and also Academically, which he got approx 8 A for SPM.

After acquiring a diploma in CAT, he is now doing ACCA in UiTM Shah Alam for his first year.

Above all, I wish and believe that he will do well in the years to come, not only in University but also in his career days.

2006 (RMC- Mental Torture Department)

Hmm, this should be fun to explain him... LOL

Well I would say this year (2006) i enter *above. Because it was tough OK???

And one of the other reason i stayed on is because of this guy.

Raja Muhammad Ashraf Raja Khalif

433445 ( i hope i got it right) plz don't be mad at me.. XP

So who is this guy??

WELL??? He's my company leader ( as we called it SUO (Senior Under Officer)

He was incharge of my company which is Foxtrot.

By far, compare to my previous role model.

In terms of management and how to handle welfare, R.M Ashraf is the best.

Why, because the way he leads the comapny is SO inspirational.

Even i follow his way in the3 way i manage things...

Other than that, he was awared the Commandant Prize (The Best Student/SUO) for 2006, and I was PROUD of it as i was honour to serve him

Now currently, he is in NDU (National Defence University) formally known ATMA. Doing a course in... Hmm i cant remember... heee SORRY AGAIN!!!!

But now he is doing well there.. And i hope one day he would be PAT of Malaysia.. YEAH!!!!

2007 (Trinity Year)

As a second year in RMC while mingling with the fourth year (which also the same age as me...) at first we have ALOT of disagreement... it was in its climax during end-2006. War almost broke off..

Thank god it did not come through as that. Not only a solution for both parties of our badge, but also thru our new commandant (though he was not DIRECTLY involve) he sub-consciously influence us as a whole badge ( Vulgrareign-2006 intake and Revo-grade -2004) to be one.

From that on, I knew that after the passing out parade and the graduation of my previous role model, this new commandant will be the next one.

Well his name is Syed Zahiruddin Putra Syed Osman and the first NAVY Captain the commandant (which previously was ONLY the from the Army division are allowed to be the commandant).

Anyway, what I like about him is that the way he organized the college for his first and final year at college as a commandant. He single-handily brought back RMC to its Glory Days and also set the yardstick for the commandants to come.

During his crusade, he met many challenges as he want changes to the college. Almost 65% of the college staff, teacher were against him, including the Director of Studies (i mean different in opinions)

Though thru determination and his vision, he DID it. I believe he did the IMPOSSIBLE.

Because of that he is my Final Role Model for my secondary school.

To all who will read this and are reading this now. Bear in mind that because of these people above this, I have become what i become. Thru their Walk-The Talk, be the one who create opputunities and so on. Because of this I dedicated this post to these wonderfull people who change my life forever.

Regards
